          Atlanta-based hip-hop illustrator Dubelyoo is known for his work with pencil and paint, but he’s got an ass-load of projects in the works — both in and out of the art world.

          “I’m a ninja, a masseuse and a professional checker player, but I’m not a DJ,” admitted Dubelyoo — but he’s preparing to release his own self-branded mix tape. DJ Jamad of Sirius Satellite Radio originally propositioned Dubelyoo to construct a mix for his show, but instead Dubelyoo enlisted the aid of Public Enemy’s DJ Lord.

          The as-yet-untitled project, which will feature rare grooves, funk and soul tracks, will be broadcast on Sirius and made available on CD at various local retail outlets.</
          Sporting an artistic style that mixes classic illustration elements with urban sensibilities, Dubelyoo serves as one of the principals behind the traveling art show Art, Beats & Lyrics.
