Biography of Hadi Saei Bonehkohal
Hadi Saei Bonehkohal, an Iranian taekwondo athlete, was born on June 10, 1976, in Tehran, Iran.
He started practicing taekwondo at the age of six and competed in the lightweight division (67-72 kg). Hadi quickly showed his talent and dedication to the sport, becoming the World Champion in 1999 and winning a silver medal at the World Championships in 2003.
In the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Hadi won a bronze medal, and four years later, at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, he became the Olympic champion in the men's featherweight division (up to 68 kg).
His outstanding victories, sportsmanship, and adherence to fair play principles earned him the title of "Best Athlete of the Year."
Not only was Hadi successful in international competitions, but he also showed his compassionate side when the city of Bam in Iran was devastated by an earthquake
